About The Position

TCS Mobility is seeking a Dispatch Operations Specialist to join our growing team. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Dispatch Operations Specialist manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the division. This is a full-time position that sits onsite at our Columbia Division. The ideal candidate will have prior transportation experience. Administrative experience is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Previous office or administrative experience.
• MS Office.
• The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select, train, and mentor location staff.
• Effectively and frequently communicate with location staff and support team members.
• Scheduling and dispatching drivers to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs.
• Relaying information such as works orders or other messages to and from drivers, & supervisors Manager.
• Using multi-line telephone or text messages for emergency personnel or to employees.
• Preparing daily work such as schedules.
• Preparing work orders for Drivers or receiving work orders from the VA office.
• Overseeing communications within company-assigned areas with sub-contractors.
• Keeping and organizing Driver Files and Private Pays.
• Maintaining driver hours.
