About The Position

White Cap is hiring a Dispatch Manager to oversee delivery and dispatch operations. The role manages, recruits, and hires Delivery Drivers and Dispatchers; ensures trucks are loaded and operated safely and in compliance with applicable standards; and ensures drivers are routed effectively to fulfill planned and unplanned delivery commitments. The Dispatch Manager maintains the vehicle fleet, supervises drivers to minimize turnaround times, and works with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate delivery and warehouse operations and maintain inventory controls. The role also works with Inside Sales and Account Managers to resolve delivery issues, reroute trucks, and arrange unplanned vendor pickups. It requires expert knowledge of the branch delivery area and includes other duties as assigned. The position generally requires 7+ years of experience. Prior supervisory experience, routing software experience, and knowledge of DOT regulations and driver safety programs are preferred. For Virginia job seekers, the posted annual pay range is $61,300 to $88,900.

Responsibilities
