About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Dispatch Coordinator I for its Supply Chain Solutions division in Hebron, Kentucky. The position assists in all aspects of the operation, including supporting freight and driver dispatch, data entry, and daily revenue reporting. The role is hourly and scheduled for the second shift, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three or more years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or a related field required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Flexibility and self-direction to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be accustomed to busy phones.
• Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills, including the ability to adjust priorities.
• Ability to multitask and stay highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of experience in the trucking industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Central Dispatcher with the displacement of freight and drivers.
• Perform miscellaneous data entry.
• Produce a daily Revenue Report and enter bills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
