DISHWASHER (PART TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time Dishwasher at NH Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The schedule is 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on days that may vary, including rotating weekends. The listed pay range is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour. Previous dishwashing or potwashing experience is required. The position involves washing dishes and cookware by hand or machine, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, keeping kitchen and dish areas clean, handling waste, and moving or loading supplies and products. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Previous dishwashing or potwashing experience.
Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into a dishwashing machine; ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures and sanitation standards.
- Polish silver using the equipment or procedures assigned, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Follow outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash, place it in designated containers, and steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
