About The Position

The Dishwasher works at The Railyard Event and Conference Center in Elkins, West Virginia, helping keep the kitchen operating by cleaning and sanitizing dishes and maintaining a clean, orderly work area. The role also includes supporting food and supply handling, waste disposal, and other kitchen or service areas as needed. Training, standard operating procedures, checklists, and departmental handbooks will be provided. Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Dishwashing experience; it is helpful but not required, and training will be provided.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Operate the dish machine safely and keep soap and rinse chemicals stocked.
• Remove chipped or broken dishes and glassware from service.
• Keep floors, work surfaces, and kitchen equipment clean, including deep cleaning.
• Put away food and supply deliveries.
• Empty trash and break down boxes.
• Help in other areas, such as the beverage area, main kitchen, or serving area, when needed.
