About The Position

The Dishwasher supports kitchen operations at The Railyard Event and Conference Center by keeping dishes and kitchen areas clean, sanitary, and ready for service. The role includes operating the dish machine, handling supplies and deliveries, and assisting in other areas when needed. Training materials and procedures will be provided. Duties and responsibilities may change, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• Dependable and able to keep up in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Team player with a positive attitude toward guests and coworkers.
• Able to follow spoken and written instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Dishwashing experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Operate the dish machine safely and keep soap and rinse chemicals stocked.
• Remove chipped or broken dishes and glassware from service.
• Clean floors, work surfaces, and kitchen equipment, including deep cleaning.
• Put away food and supply deliveries.
• Empty trash and break down boxes.
• Assist in areas such as the beverage area, main kitchen, or serving area when needed.
