About The Position

The Dishwasher supports a quality dining experience and guest loyalty by delivering consistent food service and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant and kitchen. The role washes and stores dishes and utensils, assists kitchen and service staff, supports inventory and receiving, and maintains kitchen sanitation and safety standards. The position is at the Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Rancho Bernardo in California.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, write, type, and use basic technology.
Ability to stand and move around for an entire shift.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Wash and store dishes and utensils promptly and in an organized manner.
Assist the cook, bus person, and servers when needed.
Assist with the quality, cleanliness, and organization of the restaurant and kitchen.
Assist with inventory and receiving of food and beverage items.
Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.
Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
