About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes and kitchen equipment and maintaining orderly work areas. The role supports the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas, including clearing tables, transporting tableware to the dish room, washing and storing items, cleaning equipment, and maintaining kitchen floors and safe workspaces. The Dishwasher also attends mandatory meetings, performs assigned side work and general cleaning, and completes other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to work all venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks, including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
• Practice safe work habits and follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
• Clear tables after guests leave and take tableware to the dish room, placing silverware, dishes, glassware, and other items in appropriate areas for washing.
• Wash china, glassware, and silverware.
• Clean equipment, pots, and pans.
• Store equipment in proper locations.
• Sweep and mop all kitchen floors.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Perform assigned side work.
• Perform general cleaning tasks in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations; complete company-wide and job-specific safety training.
