About The Position
The Dishwasher cleans dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment using dishwashers or by hand. The role maintains clean, orderly, and safe kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils; stores clean items in designated areas; and supports the culinary team with delivery handling and other assigned kitchen duties. The position requires working in a fast-paced kitchen and following sanitation and food safety guidelines.
Requirements
- No specific educational requirements; a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding kitchen environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays or dish racks.
- Basic knowledge of sanitation regulations and food safety standards.
- Team-player attitude and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated storage areas.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
- Sweep and mop floors, empty trash, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Comply with sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines.
- Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the culinary team or supervisor.
