About The Position

The Dishwasher cleans dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, utensils, and cooking equipment by hand or using dishwashers, then places clean items in designated storage areas. The role maintains clean, orderly, and safe kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils; sweeps and mops floors; empties and sorts trash; and follows sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines. The Dishwasher may also help unload and store deliveries and perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the culinary team or supervisor.

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays or dish racks.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation regulations and food safety standards.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
• Sweep and mop floors, empty trash, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen area.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Comply with sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines.
• Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the culinary team or supervisor.
