About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, the Dishwasher supports kitchen operations by maintaining clean, sanitized work areas and ensuring dishware, cookware, and equipment meet food safety standards. The role helps create a safe, organized kitchen environment that supports quality meal service and resident well-being.

The Dishwasher sets up and maintains dishwashing and pot-washing stations, operates dish machines, cleans kitchen equipment and work areas, keeps sanitation records, and assists with supply storage and dining service duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain dishwashing and pot-washing stations.
• Operate dish machines according to manufacturer instructions.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware.
• Maintain accurate temperature and sanitation logs.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
• Clean kitchen equipment, floors, and prep areas.
• Assist with storage, labeling, and rotation of supplies.
• Follow OSHA and food safety regulations.
• Support dining service duties as assigned.
