About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to help maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas in a long-term care facility. The role supports the provision of nutritious meals and a positive experience for residents, staff, and guests. The schedule is 2–3 shifts per week. The starting pay rate is $18.42 per hour, with actual wages varying based on objective factors such as location, experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Be able to lift or carry up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
Be able to work around food and cleaning products.
Residency within the service area is required.
Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required where mandated by state or county law.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
Sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining areas to help maintain cleanliness.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
