About The Position

The Dishwasher uses and maintains the dish machine according to established guidelines, washes glasses and dishes in standard dish racks, and washes pots and pans in the designated pot washer's area. The role keeps the kitchen neat and clean by completing required cleaning, sweeping up broken glass or dishes, mopping spills, and emptying, spraying, and sanitizing trash cans before replacing their bags. The Dishwasher follows MSDS protocols and safety guidelines and may assist in other kitchen areas, including plating banquet events, as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Use and maintain the dish machine according to established guidelines.
• Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish racks.
• Wash pots and pans in the pot washer's area.
• Complete cleaning needed to keep the kitchen neat and clean, including sweeping up broken glass or dishes and mopping spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, spray and sanitize them after each use, and replace the trash bags.
• Follow MSDS protocols and safety guidelines.
• Perform duties in other kitchen areas as assigned, including assisting with banquet-event plating when needed.
