About The Position

Milk & Honey is hiring a Dishwasher to support kitchen operations and help deliver memorable dining experiences. In this fast-paced Southern cuisine restaurant, the Dishwasher keeps dishes and utensils clean and ready for use, maintains kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, organizes and restocks supplies, and supports the culinary team during busy periods. The role involves operating dishwashing equipment and working in a hot, humid, and sometimes wet environment.

Requirements

• Able to read documents and written instructions covering sanitation requirements, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods, often in wet conditions.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including racks of dishes and garbage bags.
• Able to work in a hot, humid, fast-paced environment.
• Able to bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Able to operate dishwashing equipment safely.

Nice To Haves

• Dishwashing experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Certification in food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Clean dishes and utensils promptly in a fast-paced kitchen.
