About The Position

The Dishwasher maintains a clean and organized kitchen by washing and sorting soiled dishes, preparing foods as needed, setting up dish stations, and keeping the dish area free of clutter. The role includes maintaining clean and dry floors throughout the shift and following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Able to walk or stand for prolonged periods.
• Able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time.
• Able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
• Able to frequently immerse hands in water.
• Able to work in a hot and damp environment.
• Able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.

• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash wares, including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Place and store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Clean trash receptacles with water or steam.
• Move dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to the work area by hand or using hand trucks.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing foods for cooking or serving as directed.
• Keep work areas safe, clean, and orderly in accordance with company, local, and state health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
