About The Position

Golden Corral - Effingham/Springfield IL is seeking an energetic, friendly Utility Person / Dishwasher. This role has an important impact on the guests’ dining experience and is responsible for general cleanliness inside and outside the restaurant, including dishwashing. The position helps maintain a pleasant, safe environment for guests and co-workers and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met. The job opening is posted by an independent Golden Corral franchisee. The franchisee receives applications and makes all hiring decisions for this location.

Responsibilities

Provide clean silverware and dishes to guests.
Clean the inside of the restaurant and maintain a pleasant, safe environment for guests and co-workers.
Clean around the outside of the building and the parking lot.
Check, clean, and stock restrooms.
Empty trash into the dumpster and keep the dumpster, trash cans, and back dock area clean.
Thoroughly clean and organize the utility area.
Perform the duty roster and ensure cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
Follow local health department laws.
Stock Cook, Line, and Server areas with appropriate glasses, silverware, and dishes.
Maintain excellent organization, speed, and cleanliness.
Bring equipment and facility problems to the Manager’s attention.
Know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
