About The Position

Legends/ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Dishwasher at the Branson Convention Center. This is a part-time, on-call position with no guarantee of hours on a weekly basis. The role requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by facility needs.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and meet corporate minimum requirements.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
  • Work well independently exercising judgment and initiative, as well as in a team environment with a diverse group of people.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment.
  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be able to work in fast paced kitchen environment.
  • Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
  • Must adhere to local Food Codes.
  • Possess a High School diploma or GED with (1) year of related experience.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow direction.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment food service training, if applicable.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • English preferred as primary language, but not required.
  • Ability to read signs and follow simple oral and written instructions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves.
  • Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at waist, bending and squatting.
  • Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, mops and brooms.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Prepare and package individual place settings.
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
  • Sweep and scrub floors.
  • Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
  • Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies.
  • Receive and store supplies.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
  • Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
