About The Position
The Dishwasher is a crucial member of the kitchen team, helping create a successful culinary experience by ensuring equipment and facilities are sanitized and well maintained. The role is primarily responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organizing the restaurant and back-of-house area, and assisting with food preparation as needed. The Dishwasher loads and unloads dishwashing machines, hand-washes specified items, stores clean dishes and equipment, maintains an adequate supply of clean tableware during busy periods, and reports dishwashing machine issues promptly.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and high-priority needs as required.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload dishwashing machines.
- Wash designated items by hand, such as wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china.
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately.
- Ensure enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils are available, especially during peak hours.
- Check dishwashing machines’ operation and promptly report technical or performance issues.
- Maintain a clean kitchen and properly organize the restaurant and back-of-house area.
- Assist with food preparation as needed.
