About The Position

Wolfgang Puck Catering is hiring full-time and part-time Dishwashers at its Culver City, California location. The position maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen and work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional details provided during the interview. The pay range is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. The role requires two years of experience working in a high-volume environment. Dishwashers follow safety and sanitation procedures, maintain the dish area, and help move and load supplies and products. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Two years of experience working in a high-volume environment.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor to a dishwashing machine; ensure they are clean and sanitary.
Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures and ensure they are clean and sanitary.
Polish silver using the assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring it is clean and sanitary.
Follow outlined safety procedures.
Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Help load and unload supplies and product.
Perform other duties as assigned.
