About The Position

Responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness of the kitchen and reception spaces. The role requires cleaning china, glassware, silverware, operational supplies, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards; completing some light preparation; and setting up and breaking down lobby receptions, meetings, and events. The Dishwasher/Steward maintains an orderly kitchen and reception area, leaves the kitchen in excellent condition for the following shift, and communicates any issues as needed.

Requirements

Flexibility to work days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; must be able to stand for extended periods.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.
Compliance with regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
Neat grooming and compliance with the company dress code.

Responsibilities

Clean china, glassware, silverware, and operational supplies to the required standards.
Complete some light food preparation.
Set up and break down lobby receptions, including wine and cheese receptions, milk and cookies, and breakfast.
Clean kitchen equipment, china, glass, and silver daily.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and reception space.
Set up and break down meetings and events according to established standards.
Leave the kitchen in top condition for the following shift and communicate any issues.
Follow regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
Report to work as scheduled, neatly groomed and in compliance with the company dress code.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors and MOD.
