About The Position

The Dishwasher/Steward helps ensure guests receive clean, spotless china, silverware, and glassware while supporting cooks, bussers, bartenders, and servers. The role maintains clean, dry, and safe work areas and provides outstanding service to guests. Team members may also take on responsibilities outside this job description as needed.

The hourly pay range is $18.00–$20.00 for this role when performed in Sacramento, California. Pay within the range depends on factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business needs. Requirements

• Prior experience is preferred.
• Food Handler Certification, if applicable.
• Dedicated and hardworking.
• Able to follow verbal instructions and training.
• Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal direction or supervision.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive clean and spotless china, silverware, and glassware.
• Provide support and assistance to cooks, bussers, bartenders, and servers.
• Keep work areas clean, dry, and safe.
• Operate kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely.
• Wash dishes, glassware, equipment, and silverware by hand when necessary.
• Keep the kitchen area clean and free of debris and water.
• Restock supplies and safely and promptly stock deliveries.
• Routinely remove trash and debris from the restaurant.
• Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks.
• Take on responsibilities outside the job description when needed.
