About The Position

The Dishwasher/Steward is responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness of the kitchen and for ensuring that china, glassware, silverware, and operational supplies are cleaned to the highest standards. The role also supports light food preparation and the setup and breakdown of lobby receptions, meetings, and events. The employee maintains orderly kitchen and reception spaces and turns over the kitchen in excellent condition to the next shift, communicating any issues as needed.

Requirements

Flexibility to work days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; the role also requires standing for extended periods.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

Clean china, glassware, silverware, and operational supplies to the required standards.
Perform some light preparation work.
Set up and break down lobby receptions, including wine and cheese receptions, milk and cookies, and breakfast.
Clean kitchen equipment, china, glassware, and silverware daily.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and reception space.
Set up and break down meetings and events to the required standards.
Leave the kitchen in excellent condition for the following shift and communicate any issues.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors and the MOD.
Follow applicable regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in accordance with the company dress code.
