About The Position

The Dishwasher/Porter cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment and work areas, washes and stores dishes and kitchenware, manages trash and recycling, and supports kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish-up assistance. The role helps maintain consistent sanitation standards across food and beverage workspaces. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The position is part-time at the Sacramento Holiday Inn in Sacramento, California. Compensation starts at $21.35; actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

Requirements

Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or squat for long periods.
Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces.
Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils in designated areas.
Manage trash and recycling, including cleaning bins and maintaining the dock area.
Support kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish-up assistance.
Help ensure consistent sanitation standards across all food and beverage workspaces.
