About The Position

A Dish Room Attendant at American Dining Creations primarily supports kitchen staff through cleaning and janitorial tasks. The role includes washing dishes and appliances, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning floors, and restocking items. The attendant may also assist with food preparation, food station breakdown, and cleanup, and may be assigned other duties as needed.

Ability to lift 50 pounds, push and pull heavy carts, bend, climb stairs, and stand and walk for the entire scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

Sort and wash dishes, pots, and utensils using a dish machine and a 3-compartment sink.
Keep designated dish areas organized and free of clutter.
Properly store clean dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
Maintain appropriate temperatures, water levels, and chemical dilutions for dish machines and sinks as required by business levels.
Hand-wash specific items, such as wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate items.
Keep floors clean and dry throughout the shift.
Assist with timely storage of food deliveries while maintaining the dry storage area and organizing storage shelves.
Complete janitorial tasks, including bussing tables, emptying trash cans, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes.
May assist with food preparation and food station breakdown and cleanup.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
