About The Position

The Dish Machine Operator cleans, transports, and stores china, glassware, and silverware, and maintains cleanliness in kitchen areas and the back dock. The position is with the Hilton Columbus/Polaris, a 254-room, full-service AAA Four Diamond hotel in the Polaris community. Associates are also employed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts. The posting describes the role as part-time, though its heading says “Full Time.” Candidates offered employment must be willing to undergo social security verification, a criminal background check, and urinalysis drug screening. An MVR check may also be conducted if the role requires operating a company vehicle. The position is at-will, and job duties may be assigned or changed by the associate’s supervisor or the Company.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the dish room, kitchen aisle, and dock area.
Break down trays, set up the dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store clean china, glass, and silver using proper procedures.
Empty trash cans and wash their interiors and exteriors.
Thoroughly clean the dock area and dumpster.
Break down the dish machine and clean its interior and exterior.
Clean breakdown tables.
Clean tile walls and baseboards.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
