Requirements

Screen foster youth electronic case files to identify children who may have potential eligibility for SSA benefit programs.
Provide expert advice and guidance to case workers on benefit-related matters.
Develop and file applications with the SSA by gathering supporting evidence, completing forms and gathering necessary signatures.
Manage pending applications by tracking their status, providing updated information and facilitating attendance by children who need to attend Consultative Exams requested by SSA.
Maintain comprehensive and precise records of all benefit activities and transactions.
Provide periodic training to workers regarding the Social Security program.
Act as the primary day to day liaison with client.
