Intake Entitlement Specialist
About The Position
RiseWell Community Services is looking to hire a Full-Time Intake Entitlement Specialist to join the Residential Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and maintenance of all assigned entitlement/benefit cases as well as assigned intakes. Participate in the outreach and in-reach efforts of the Residential Services Intake Department for both Licensed and Non-Licensed Housing. Provide back-up for individual staff in completing intakes as needed. Assist in coordinating the intake and admission process to ensure compliance, efficiency, and customer service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1-year experience equivalent experience in related field in Human Services
- Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health, clean and valid NYS Driver’s License.
Nice To Haves
- 2-years preferred experience in related field in Human Services
- Experience working with the homeless population, formerly homeless, those diagnosed with severe mental illness and/or substance use disorder is recommended.
