About The Position

Paytm is hiring three Directors to drive international business growth in Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States. Each Director will lead strategic partnerships, enterprise relationships, and revenue growth in their assigned market, working with regional and global leadership.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, or financial technology, with a strong record in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership.
• An established network in the payments ecosystem of the assigned market.
• Experience negotiating and closing complex, high-value commercial agreements.
• A good understanding of merchant acquiring, cross-border payments, digital wallets, or remittances.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.

Nice To Haves

• German or Dutch language skills are an advantage for the European roles.
• An MBA or postgraduate degree from a reputed institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by winning and managing strategic enterprise, merchant, and partner relationships.
• Identify, negotiate, and close partnerships with banks, payment service providers, card schemes, fintech companies, marketplaces, and technology platforms.
• Assess market opportunities, competitors, and customer needs, and translate findings into business plans.
• Support cross-border payment and remittance opportunities between the assigned market and Paytm’s other markets.
• Work with Product, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and Finance teams to launch partnerships and deliver commitments.
• Lead and develop a team of business development and account management professionals.
• Track pipeline, revenue, and partnership performance, and report to senior leadership.
