Bond OpCo, LLCFort Lauderdale, FL

About The Position

BOND is a rapidly growing private aviation company revolutionizing fractional aircraft ownership and private aircraft management, delivering an elevated and seamless flying experience for discerning clients. Supported by a landmark Bombardier fleet order, we are building a modern fleet of late-model super-midsize and ultra-long-range aircraft and assembling a team committed to operational excellence, safety, and white-glove service. As we scale toward launch and long-term growth, we are seeking professionals who want to help build a next-generation aviation company and play a meaningful role in shaping how it operates from the ground up. Bond is a modern fractional aviation company operating a fleet of private aircraft and selling fractional ownership programs and memberships to high-net-worth members. In roughly five months, Bond has built a fully operational, multi-account AWS platform (live in both development and production) spanning two products, along with the corporate compute environment every employee depends on. This newly created leadership role takes full ownership of that estate as we scale, spanning the AWS cloud platform (Terraform-managed infrastructure, production operations, security, observability, and the data lake) and end-user enablement (device management, identity, endpoint security, and productivity tooling). It's a hands-on senior technical seat for someone who wants to run a real production platform and the corporate compute stack, not just oversee one. We're looking for someone who takes full ownership of the technology estate, forms a clear view and acts on it with urgency, and is ready to make restoring a healthy, reliable end-user compute foundation their first priority.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology infrastructure, cloud platform, or IT operations, including at least 5 years in senior leadership positions.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with AWS multi-account architecture: organization structure, SCPs, Resource Access Manager, account vending, and permission boundaries.
  • Terraform at scale: module design, state management, workspace strategy, and remote state dependencies.
  • ECS Fargate operations: task sizing, service connect, deployment strategies, and container debugging.
  • Database operations on Aurora/RDS: failover, RDS Proxy behavior, logical replication, and secrets rotation.
  • Strong security posture fundamentals: least-privilege IAM, GuardDuty triage, and SCP design.
  • End-user computing and endpoint management at scale: MDM (Jamf and Intune), Okta identity lifecycle, EDR rollout (CrowdStrike), and Microsoft 365 administration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience productionizing and hardening freshly-live cloud environments.
  • CI/CD pipeline ownership with GitHub Actions and Terraform plan/apply automation.
  • Data platform experience (Databricks or Snowflake) and observability tooling (Datadog).
  • Experience in aviation, travel, hospitality, or a similarly time-sensitive operational industry.

Responsibilities

  • Own the complete Terraform estate across every environment and account for both products, including module design and infrastructure PR review.
  • Operate and mature the live production platform, bringing remaining services to go-live, proving out backups and disaster recovery, and owning production secrets, access control, and on-call.
  • Administer identity and access across the organization, including IAM Identity Center and secure database connectivity.
  • Own the corporate compute stack: laptop deployment, Okta identity, CrowdStrike EDR, and Microsoft 365, starting with restoring reliable device provisioning as the first priority.
  • Own the organization-wide security baseline (GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, SCPs) and lead technical readiness for future SOC 2 efforts.
  • Run the 24x7 application support desk, including service levels, on-call rotations, and continuous improvement feedback into the platform teams.
  • Serve as the senior technical owner of the platform, partnering with engineering and product leadership, and directly manage the on-site End-User IT lead in Fort Lauderdale.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based bonus eligibility (role dependent)
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with supplemental coverage options and company-paid life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and company holidays for eligible roles
