About The Position

The Director, Technology Operations, leads the strategic planning and execution of large-scale technology programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals. This role oversees defining the business requirements, program budgeting, risk management, and performance measurement while fostering strong stakeholder relationships to drive collaboration and informed decision-making. The position requires expertise in technology solutions, operational efficiency, and business strategy translation. The Director champions continuous improvement, innovation, and effective communication across multiple teams to deliver measurable value and support organizational success within a complex, dynamic environment. The Cross Border Solutions team drives revenue growth and enhances marketplace profitability by delivering seamless global selling and shopping experiences. The team enables customers to access international assortments through local marketplaces while supporting sellers in expanding globally. Collaborating closely with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Analytics, the team identifies opportunities and develops innovative solutions to address complex business challenges. Operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the team embraces strategic execution and delivers impactful outcomes that influence key business decisions at senior leadership levels.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in program and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for large-scale technology initiatives.
  • Proven ability to define and execute integrated program plans aligned with business priorities and objectives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to build consensus and drive collaboration across multiple teams.
  • Deep understanding of technology strategies, emerging technologies, and their application to business solutions.
  • Expertise in performance measurement, risk assessment, and mitigation to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technology operations strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing profit and loss (P&L) and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 6 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Option 2: 8 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 3 years’ supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
