We’re taking that foundation of success and bringing it to the digital space. This role will be a key contributor within the Sportsbook Retention Marketing team leading promotion initiatives. The position will drive the strategy, planning, and optimization of promotional campaigns that impact all facets of customer generosity. Working cross-functionally with teams across the business, you will lead customer retention strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements, while advising an evolving product roadmap and developing a strong team-first set of processes.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of online gaming customers and sports fans’ preferences with experience in how promotional strategies can improve their engagement.
  • 5+ years of digital sportsbook, DFS, gaming or casino experience in promotional strategy and retention marketing
  • Ability to lead a team built on data-first initiatives and well-documented processes
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and/or promotional management tools
  • Analytical and data science background with ability to understand performance relative to objectives in real time
  • Experience influencing cross-functional team strategy, including marketing, product and compliance
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of regulatory considerations across different jurisdictions

Responsibilities

  • Develop core promotional strategy
  • Oversee promotional planning and budgeting process, aligning seasonal and real-time initiatives to business priorities
  • Work closely with CRM team to align promotional and messaging pillars
  • Create consistent process-first QA guidelines to ensure best-in-class customer experience
  • Align promotional priorities and emerging initiatives with product development strategy
  • Ensure all promotional materials meet compliance and brand standards
  • Instill alignment on campaign mechanics, targeting strategy, offer structures and messaging
  • Analyze performance trends to optimize against key objectives
