Using technical fluency across disciplines, the Director guides subject matter experts, maintains focus during complex technical reviews, and ensures decisions are informed, documented, and aligned with client and project objectives. The role supports greenfield builds, retrofits, and special projects, including next-generation liquid-cooled GPU environments and other high-density workloads. The position is remote and requires 15–30% travel. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and pass comprehensive background and drug screening. The compensation range is $197,600–$221,300.

  • Partner with clients to understand and refine requirements and translate them into actionable designs and project plans.
  • Develop and negotiate technical lease provisions and service-level agreements (SLAs), ensuring technical terms are clear and consistent through execution.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, architectural, and controls engineering to deliver cohesive, high-quality, efficient design solutions.
  • Oversee engineering and contracting governance across the project lifecycle, maintaining alignment with STACK standards, technical accuracy, and client objectives.
  • Structure and lead technical review meetings by setting objectives, decision criteria, and expected outcomes.
  • Facilitate subject matter expert presentations, maintain meeting scope and timing, and ensure technical rationale is communicated.
  • Translate technical language across disciplines and for nontechnical stakeholders, ensuring comprehension and decision traceability.
  • Synthesize technical input into project recommendations and document decisions, rationale, and impacts on cost, schedule, compliance, and reliability.
  • Identify cross-discipline integration risks early, particularly involving power, cooling, and infrastructure interfaces.
