About The Position

The Director within Fidelity Digital Assets’ TechOps SRE team provides technical and people leadership for site reliability and cloud engineering. The role partners with engineering and product leaders to drive initiatives from design through implementation, and owns execution of reliability and cloud delivery programs. The position supports highly available, multi-region Kubernetes environments running on AWS EKS that underpin critical workloads and Fidelity’s enterprise-grade infrastructure strategy. The Director leads a small group of SREs and Cloud Engineers, including hiring, mentoring, goal setting, performance management, and career development. The role establishes and improves reliability practices, on-call operations, incident management, service metrics, automation, and infrastructure-as-code standards. Current onsite expectations vary, and may evolve; the posting does not specify the onsite requirement for this particular role. Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position. The base salary range is $126,000–$255,000 per year, with potential bonus or other variable compensation depending on the position and eligibility requirements.
