SalesforceSan Francisco, CA
$197,300 - $344,700

About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead MuleSoft's Agent Fabric portfolio. This role is responsible for the trust, governance, and connectivity layer that enables autonomous AI agents to securely discover, connect to, and orchestrate across enterprise APIs and data. The position is a generalist product leadership role that will involve strategy, adoption, and execution for a rapidly evolving product area. The Director will partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to translate a 1-3 year vision into a tangible roadmap.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product management, with meaningful time in enterprise software (SaaS, iPaaS, developer platforms, or cloud infrastructure).
  • Track record owning a product area end-to-end, from an ambiguous 1.0 problem space through GA and adoption, in a fast-changing technical domain.
  • Working knowledge of API-led connectivity/integration patterns and the AI/LLM/agent ecosystem (agent frameworks, MCP, LLM orchestration).
  • Strong cross-functional operator, comfortable navigating a matrixed org and building bridges across engineering, design, and GTM.
  • Customer-centric, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by building in a category that is still being defined.
  • A related technical degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on exposure to agent frameworks, MCP servers, or LLM gateway/governance patterns.
  • Experience with developer-facing platforms or tools (SDKs, APIs, no-code/low-code builders).

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for a significant capability area within Agent Fabric, such as agent/MCP governance, registry and discovery, orchestration, or adoption enablement.
  • Translate fast-moving shifts in agentic AI into a coherent, sequenced plan.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery for a complex, cross-functional product area, balancing long-range vision with the need to iterate quickly.
  • Partner across Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, and Sales without formal authority to build alignment and momentum in a matrixed organization.
  • Use usage data and customer signal to drive adoption of Agent Fabric capabilities, helping customers transition to agent-orchestrated workflows.
  • Represent MuleSoft's AI/agent point of view with strategic customers, at industry events, and in executive briefings.
