Director Product Management

InMobiNew York, NY

About The Position

We are looking for a Group Product Manager – Web to own and modernize the product stack that powers monetization across the open web. This is a builder's mandate with two halves: bring our web monetization platform to genuine parity with the best in the world, and then push past it — shipping category-defining innovation that makes InMobi materially more valuable to advertisers, publishers, and the consumers on the other side of every impression. This role sits at the intersection of programmatic advertising, web platform engineering, AI Innovation in the space. You will work on the web monetization roadmap end to end: building, championing or influencing the auction and bidding architecture, the publisher integration surface, demand quality and curation, yield optimization, and the next generation of AI-native monetization products. You will be measured on hard outcomes — publisher revenue and retention, advertiser performance and trust, and consumer experience — and you'll be given the freedom to make big bets to move them. This is a senior, high-visibility role. You will set/drive strategy, but you are expected to be deeply hands-on: in the data, in the oRTB payloads, in the prototype, and in the room with engineering, GTM, partnerships, and leadership.

Requirements

  • A strong, current understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, with specific depth in web/open-web monetization and publisher revenue.
  • Deep working knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, and ad servers, and how they interact across the open web.
  • Hands-on familiarity with the web monetization stack: header bidding and Prebid (client- and server-side), wrapper solutions, ad-server integration, and tag/SDK-based publisher integration.
  • Real fluency in OpenRTB, including PMP, Programmatic Guaranteed (PG), curated deals, and auction-package mechanics — comfortable reading and reasoning about bid request/response payloads at the field level.
  • Working knowledge of supply-path optimization and supply-chain transparency: ads.txt, sellers.json, SupplyChain (schain), and the economics of path consolidation.
  • Practical understanding of the identity and privacy landscape — Privacy Sandbox (Topics, Protected Audience), authenticated identity solutions (e.g., UID2, RampID), and addressability strategy in a deprecating-signal world.
  • Strong grasp of measurement, analytics, and quality systems — viewability, IVT/MFA mitigation, brand safety, and attribution/measurement partners.
  • Excellent product judgment and the ability to operate from first principles in a complex, fast-moving technical domain.
  • An AI-first thinker who uses Generative AI across the workflow — strategy, analysis, experimentation, and execution.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar — able to build lightweight tools, prototypes, dashboards, and automations without waiting on an engineering queue.
  • Excited about using AI to compress the distance from idea to working solution, and to materially raise both personal productivity and product outcomes.
  • 10+ years in Product Management, with substantial time spent in AdTech, programmatic, or publisher monetization — ideally with direct web / open-web ownership.
  • Experience with large-scale consumer platforms, advertising-technology companies, or digital publishers, operating at meaningful scale and complexity.
  • A proven track record of shipping products that drive revenue and measurable business impact — and ideally of taking a platform from "behind" to "best-in-class."
  • Strong cross-functional leadership: able to influence engineering, GTM, partnerships, and executive stakeholders, and to communicate complex technical concepts crisply to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the end-to-end product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for InMobi's web monetization stack.
  • Bring the stack to best-in-class parity on the fundamentals — auction efficiency, fill, transparency, addressability and integration ease — by closing concrete, prioritized gaps against the market.
  • Lead category-defining innovation on top of that foundation: AI-native yield, new monetization surfaces, and products that create durable advantage for InMobi's publishers and advertisers.
  • Own the publisher integration surface — web SDK, LLM Surfaces and header-bidding integration, server-side connections, and the developer experience that makes InMobi easy to adopt and hard to leave.
  • Maximize publisher yield by scaling auction-based monetization and deal-based demand (PMP, Programmatic Guaranteed, curated packages), and by improving the efficiency of every supply path.
  • Partner with DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, and curation partners to grow demand, improve auction dynamics, and raise effective CPMs and fill.
  • Drive demand quality, transparency, and trust — supply-path optimization, ads.txt / sellers.json / SupplyChain (schain) hygiene, MFA and invalid-traffic mitigation, brand safety, and viewability/measurement integration.
  • Stand up data-driven experimentation — A/B and holdout frameworks, clean measurement, and a fast loop from hypothesis to shipped change to validated impact.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering to build scalable platform capabilities, and translate complex technical tradeoffs into clear decisions for senior leadership.
