About The Position

The Director, Performance Management Program owns the end-to-end design, implementation, and ongoing management of Hertz’s franchise performance management system. The role defines the scorecard, metrics, data and reporting infrastructure, business-review routines, coaching materials, insights, rankings, rewards, and consequences that make performance visible, actionable, and trusted. It is the system owner and orchestrator—not the primary field coach or independent auditor—and ensures standards, measurement, coaching, reporting, and enforcement work as an integrated system. The role reports to the Global Head of Franchise Growth and collaborates across the Transformation Office, Franchisee Business Partners, Operations, Data & Analytics, Technology, Finance, Audit, and other global functional teams. It establishes the program vision, operating model, roadmap, and delivery priorities; defines KPIs and measurement rules; and oversees dashboards, scoring, benchmarks, and performance governance. It also develops rewards and consequence mechanisms, structured business-review and coaching tools, and practical interventions based on performance insights. The Director leads stakeholder training, adoption, feedback, and continuous improvement, monitoring system impact and improving data quality and usability. The system is intended to support profitable growth, guest experience, franchisee trust, and consistent accountability across the franchise network.
