Director, Program Management

About The Position

Bevi is hiring a Director of Program Management to lead its central PMO, which runs new product introduction (NPI) programs from concept to launch. The PMO is part of Operations, includes five program managers, and reports to the COO. This is both a leadership and hands-on role: the Director will lead and develop the team, establish standards for running hardware programs, and directly manage one of Bevi’s important NPI programs. The role is intended to reduce NPI cycle time while improving predictability and quality. The Director will own the phase-gate process, ensuring each gate results in a clear go, no-go, or recycle decision and that outstanding items have assigned owners. They will ensure programs have credible, aggressive schedules that are updated weekly; track risks and underlying inputs such as drawings, test results, decisions, and supplier dates; base status on evidence; escalate issues early with options; and secure and document decisions. They will report program status to the leadership team and Board. The role partners across Product, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Service, and Sales to support launches that meet target quality, cost, and supply-readiness goals. It also works with leadership and Product on portfolio priorities, makes resource and schedule tradeoffs visible, and manages programs involving contract manufacturers and design partners, including partners in Asia. The Director will improve PMO efficiency by keeping core teams small and meetings focused, moving program information into a single system of record, using automation and AI to reduce update-compilation work, and conducting post-program reviews to improve the playbook.
