About The Position

The Director, Patient Intelligence Strategy & Governance leads the strategy, governance, standardization, and evolution of enterprise patient intelligence capabilities that support customer, patient, portfolio, field, and business decision making. The role partners closely with Strategy, Platforms & Technology (SPT) Data Strategy to define patient intelligence requirements, business rules, standards, and data needs for scalable analytics, data products, and decision-support capabilities. As the enterprise business owner for patient intelligence frameworks, analytics standards, business rules, governance processes, and reusable assets, the Director improves consistency, accelerates decision making, and enables deeper understanding of patient needs, care pathways, opportunities, and outcomes. The position defines how patient intelligence is structured, governed, standardized, adopted, and measured across brands, therapeutic areas, and enterprise decision processes. It does not own data architecture, master data management, data engineering, platform delivery, or technical data strategy, which remain SPT responsibilities. The Director is the primary business partner guiding patient intelligence requirements, prioritization, governance, adoption, and value realization. Working within a globally integrated capability model, the role shares responsibility with HYD counterparts for advancing capabilities through common standards, coordinated roadmaps, reusable solutions, and execution across geographies. The position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S., subject to possible legal-entity restrictions. Relocation is not provided. Working hours and travel expectations are determined by the hiring manager, and travel may be required at the manager’s discretion.
