About The Position

This role is responsible for leading and developing the worship and arts ministries at Treeline Church. The Director of Worship & Arts will oversee all aspects of worship services, including music, technical production, and creative elements. They will also foster an environment where artistic expression can flourish and contribute to the overall mission and vision of the church.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading worship.
• Proficiency in musical ability (instrumental and/or vocal).
• Understanding of various worship styles and theological approaches to worship.
• Ability to recruit, train, and lead teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with audio-visual technology for live events.
• A commitment to the mission and values of Treeline Church.

Nice To Haves

• Formal education in music, worship arts, or a related field.
• Experience in arts administration or management.
• Proficiency in multiple instruments.
• Experience in songwriting or music composition.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship services musically and spiritually.
• Develop and implement creative elements for worship.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of worship team members (musicians, vocalists, technical staff).
• Manage the budget for the worship and arts department.
• Collaborate with church leadership to ensure worship aligns with the church's vision and values.
• Explore and integrate new artistic expressions into worship.
• Ensure the technical aspects of worship services (sound, lighting, video) are well-executed.
