About The Position

Pathway Church in Burleson, TX, is seeking a Director of Worship. This is a full-time role focused on leading Christ-centered worship during weekend services and student ministry, while also fostering future worship leaders. The church is a vibrant, community-focused congregation that identifies as a recovery church, providing a space for individuals to be themselves and grow in their faith together. They prioritize developing servants from within the congregation, with much of their leadership emerging from within. The Director of Worship will work closely with the Pastor of Worship, Director of Student Ministry, and Director of Production to ensure worship experiences align with the church's vision and values. Key responsibilities include leading worship services, selecting music, overseeing production, and facilitating spiritual engagement. The role also involves collaborating with ministry leaders, mentoring musicians, and creating a leadership pipeline for worship leaders. The ideal candidate is described as a relational, authentic, and humble leader, a strong vocalist and musician, passionate about disciple-making and mentoring youth in worship, and a collaborative leader skilled in delegation and empowerment. Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Spirit-led, Gospel-centered worship services and special events, ensuring alignment with the church’s theological vision and effective collaboration with ministry leaders.
• Recruit, train, and mentor worship leaders and musicians, fostering spiritual and musical growth while creating a pipeline for future leaders.
• Model a lifestyle of worship, providing spiritual guidance and fostering a culture of discipleship and growth within the worship team.
• Plan and lead rehearsals, ensuring musicians are well-prepared and incorporating current trends in worship music and technology.
• Work with ministry leaders to align worship themes with the church vision and maintain clear, consistent communication within the worship ministry.
