About The Position

Our client is a globally recognized leader in supply chain logistics, with an extensive global footprint and decades of industry experience. In Canada, their operations span freight forwarding, contract logistics, warehousing and transportation — with a growing presence in key U.S. markets. They are expanding their Canadian leadership team and looking for a commercially driven sales leader to own and grow their North American revenue base. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who has built teams, closed big deals, and is ready to own a market. As Director of Sales – North America, you will lead a team of 7 sales professionals across Québec, Ontario, and British Columbia, while personally driving strategic growth across both Canadian and U.S. markets. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will set direction, build pipeline, close major accounts, and develop the people around you. This is a player-coach role — you lead from the front and you know how to win.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams in a multi-market environment
  • Experience managing both Canadian and U.S. markets is a strong asset
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding (air/ocean) and/or contract logistics and warehousing solutions
  • Confident and credible — equally effective with frontline staff, senior clients, and executive leadership
  • Data-driven approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and performance accountability
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, pricing, and finance
  • Bilingualism (French and English) required — this role is based in Montreal and leads a bilingual team
  • Willingness to travel across Canada and the U.S. as required
