About The Position

This position is in Cargill's specialized portfolio enterprise, serving diverse businesses that support unique customers or markets, including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt, and Cargill joint ventures. The Sales Director - Poultry will lead and develop sales strategy, commercial talent, and sales processes to achieve revenue targets while building a high-performing coaching culture that accelerates individual and team performance. In this role, you will provide strategic vision and tactical direction, oversee and direct the responsibilities of employees, and represent the organization in promoting and selling the company's products and services.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of sales or commercial experience in poultry nutrition or feed

Three years of supervisory experience

Responsibilities

Organize and coordinate sales operations in a specified geographical area.
Evaluate market potential and the status of sales in the area.
Plan and organize sales projects and activities for a geographical area.
Build and strengthen strategic customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and lead the development and execution of customer growth strategies.
Plan, develop and deliver the marketing strategy for products, services and associated brands.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors.
Develop sales team through coaching, feedback, succession planning, and performance development. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
