About The Position

Join our team as a Director of Sales & Marketing for a new hotel opening late 2026! Exciting things are coming to Quorum Hospitality, with a new hotel scheduled to open toward the end of 2026! We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to join the team and help drive the hotel’s success from pre-opening through stabilization and beyond. This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in a ground-up hotel opening, where you’ll build the sales strategy and team, establish market presence, and generate demand from the earliest stages. As Director of Sales & Marketing, you’ll be the driving force behind revenue growth, leading proactive sales efforts, cultivating strong client relationships, and positioning the hotel as a premier destination across multiple market segments. The hotel, currently named Eddy Redondo Beach, will be launched as part of a major soft brand collection, with more details to be shared as we move closer to opening.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on hotel sales and leadership experience.
  • Proven success in outside sales with a strong ability to generate new business.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be proficient with Windows operating systems and sales software.
  • Must have valid driver’s license for applicable state and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).

Nice To Haves

  • Director-level experience is preferred.
  • A 2 to 4-year college degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and solicit new corporate business to drive revenue for both hotels.
  • Make sales appointments and cold calls to consistently identify and close new accounts across all direct sales segments.
  • Host clients for site visits, personalized tours, and exclusive entertainment events to demonstrate the value of our properties.
  • Monitor the production of all top accounts, analyzing trends, and adjusting strategies to maximize hotel performance.
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to create and implement sales strategies that optimize hotel yield.
  • Lead and participating in daily and weekly sales meetings to ensure alignment and success across all initiatives.
  • Implement special promotions and participating in sales blitzes to boost direct sales efforts.
  • Ensure all interactions with guests and colleagues are conducted in an attentive, friendly, and service-oriented manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
