Fairmont Breakers is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and execute short- and long-term sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, occupancy, ADR, and market share goals. This role involves leading the creation and implementation of the annual Sales & Marketing Business Plan and budget, identifying new market opportunities, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of market trends and competitor activity. The Director will collaborate with Executive Committee members, drive various business segments, partner with Revenue Management on pricing and forecasting, and lead contract negotiations. They will also direct all sales activities, establish sales targets, and support client engagement through various channels. Additionally, this position involves developing and overseeing integrated marketing plans, directing digital marketing, public relations, social media, advertising, and promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with Fairmont brand standards. The Director will recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing Sales & Marketing team, foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and manage departmental operating budgets. This role requires serving as a visible ambassador for Fairmont Breakers Long Beach and building relationships within the local community and hospitality industry.
