About The Position

Relient Health is seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead rehabilitation services at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Walnut Creek, California. This is a full-time, direct-hire leadership position for a licensed Occupational Therapist with prior experience as a DOR in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The facility is described as stable and mission-driven, with a strong interdisciplinary team and a focus on quality therapy outcomes. The DOR will lead physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services, supporting clinical excellence, efficient operations, and a supportive environment for patients and staff. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday. Compensation is approximately $130,000–$140,000, and the position includes a full benefits package, paid time off, paid holidays, continuing education support, and opportunities for leadership training and career growth. Requirements

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California.
At least 1 year of recent experience as a Director of Rehabilitation in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting or equivalent; required.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge of Medicare documentation, compliance, and billing standards.
Must be a licensed therapy professional with prior DOR experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility; clinicians seeking their first management role are not being considered.
Only Occupational Therapists are being considered for this opening.

Responsibilities
