Services include emergency services and freestanding emergency department, general and robotic surgery, maternity care, breast health, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, stroke, sleep medicine, urology and wound care. This role is responsible for the oversight and direction of Diagnostic Radiology, CT Department, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Special Procedures, Radiation Therapy and MRI to include the Freestanding Emergency Department. Demonstrates 24 hour responsibility for personnel and operations. Responsibilities include the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating of economic growth, fiscal responsibility and the quality of the business related scope whether clinical or non clinical. The Leader collaborates with the SMG member in developing, setting, implementing, monitoring and evaluating standards of care and practice. Participates on assigned community, hospital and medical committees. Promotes collaborative relationships among the medical staff, clinical staff, volunteers, the community and other departments within the system. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors required, Masters preferred
  • 5-8 years' experience in Radiology
  • 5-8 years' Healthcare Management experience required
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an approved school
  • Registered by ARRT
  • Licensed by the State of Florida
  • Knowledge of Regulatory requirements of the State and Radioactive Materials License
  • Certified in at least one Imaging modality preferably Radiology
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required

Responsibilities
