About The Position
The Interventional Radiology Tech performs imaging of human vascular anatomy using radiologic and computerized vascular equipment. The role requires knowledge of radiologic physics to safely inject and image vascular anatomy. The position requires an ARRT Registered Technologist credential, current state licensure, and Basic Life Support certification.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing.
- Current state licensure (RL) before employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of radiologic physics and computerized vascular equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography: R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT), or Vascular-Interventional Radiology: R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT).
- Experience with Siemens equipment, Zeegos, Pheno, and Artis bi-plane.
