About The Position

Atmosphere is looking for a Director of Programmatic Partnerships to join its National Ad Sales team in its New York office. This position will focus on selling programmatic access targeting TV, CTV & DOOH advertising opportunities across its network of 60,000+ venues across the US. The role requires someone with a proven track record and understanding of the programmatic media landscape, who is a self-starter and effectively builds relationships through in person & virtual meetings, phone calls, and industry events. This position will be based in NYC and will report to the Sr. Director of Programmatic Partnerships.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in programmatic sales or strategy at a premium ad-tech publisher, DSP, SSP, or agency.
  • Established relationships within Publicis Groupe (Publicis Media agencies, Publicis Media Exchange, and/or Epsilon) and a working knowledge of its programmatic buying structure and processes.
  • Proven track record of earning, retaining, and growing revenue across various inventory ad formats, devices, and screens, as well as buying models (PMP, PG).
  • Strong understanding of SSPs, DSPs, and the broader programmatic ecosystem.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Highly analytical, strategic thinker, and problem solver with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to take a data-driven and consultative approach to maximizing revenue.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • High degree of drive and self-motivation.
  • Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic programmatic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Own Atmosphere’s programmatic relationship with Publicis Groupe in the US, serving as the primary point of contact across Publicis Media agencies (including Starcom, Zenith, and Spark Foundry), Publicis Media Exchange (PMX), and Epsilon.
  • Build and execute a holding-company-level strategy to grow Atmosphere’s share of Publicis programmatic spend through PMP, PG, and preferred-partner deal structures.
  • Develop multi-level relationships across Publicis investment, activation, and client-facing teams to drive brand-level adoption of Atmosphere inventory.
  • Work in lockstep with Atmosphere’s New York-based Publicis direct sales team to align on account strategy, client priorities, and deal pipeline, ensuring a unified approach across direct and programmatic buying.
  • Manage and grow existing programmatic partnerships while identifying and cultivating new opportunities.
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to analyze performance, identify trends, and optimize campaigns across various inventory ad formats, devices, and screens.
  • Drive revenue growth through Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals.
  • Provide expert consultation to clients and agencies on programmatic strategies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (ad operations, product, marketing) to ensure seamless campaign execution and delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving programmatic landscape, including CTV, Linear, and Digital advertising.
  • Manage a large book of business across a variety of clients and agency accounts.
  • Independently lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
  • Utilize Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage accounts, analyze data, and create presentations.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
