About The Position

Goodwall is seeking a Director of Partnerships to drive its next phase of growth. This role involves securing new partnerships, nurturing relationships with major organizations, and transforming ambitious concepts into high-impact, valuable programs for young people. The position carries a multi-million dollar revenue target, focusing on 6-7 figure partnerships, and requires proactive pipeline development. The Director will engage with senior leaders from global companies, Fortune 500 corporations, foundations, and public sector organizations, focusing on building trust, identifying opportunities, and finalizing contracts. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position requires a consultative approach, co-creating bespoke solutions with partners based on their objectives. The role offers significant autonomy, allowing the individual to influence sales strategies, target relationships, and focus areas within a lean team structure. This is not a standard 9-5 role, emphasizing trust and flexibility in managing time to achieve partnership goals.

Requirements

  • Experience selling into corporate CSR, sustainability, HR/talent, or foundation budgets.
  • Experience within the youth, skills, workforce development, edtech, or social impact sectors is ideal.
  • Experience selling "soft" outcomes to enterprise buyers in adjacent spaces like fintech, HR-tech, or digital health is also considered.
  • Naturally commercial, curious, and creative mindset, understanding that opportunities often begin with conversation.
  • Proficiency in building relationships with senior decision-makers and engaging with operational teams.
  • Ability to take an idea from conception to a signed contract, including proposal, financial, and business case development.
  • Highly self-directed with the ability to achieve results without extensive team support or rigid processes.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to move quickly, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Desire for ownership and autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and close significant partnership opportunities, owning a multi-million dollar revenue target and developing a personal pipeline.
