About The Position

Celero Communications is seeking an entrepreneurial, commercially driven marketing leader to build and lead the global go-to-market strategy for its next-generation Digital Signal Processor (DSP) product line. The role connects advanced chip design with market adoption, translating technical architecture into commercial solutions and supporting product growth and brand awareness. The Director will help define the product vision and roadmap, develop pricing and positioning, and work to secure early design wins with hyperscalers and module makers. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this early-stage startup role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution. The Director will collaborate across engineering, design, supply chain, sales, executive leadership, and operations, while creating marketing materials and gathering customer and competitive intelligence to inform product development. The position may be based at Celero’s Irvine, California headquarters or remotely.

  • 15+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or business development specifically within coherent DSP and optical networking.
  • Deep understanding of DSP architectures, signal-processing algorithms, and optical module ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and execute with limited infrastructure.
  • Experience managing product launches or customer engagements globally.
  • Ability to synthesize complex networking architectural concepts into clear business solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction while collaborating across engineering, executive leadership, sales, and operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in semiconductor marketing.
  • Experience in optical networking.
  • Experience with coherent DSP technologies.
  • Experience with high-speed interconnects.
  • Experience with optical modules.
  • Experience with hyperscale cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the company’s marketing strategy to support corporate growth, product adoption, and brand awareness.
  • Define the multi-year product vision, business cases, and roadmap using market data and return-on-investment considerations.
  • Develop pricing strategies, margin targets, value propositions, and go-to-market plans.
  • Translate complex DSP architecture into value propositions for engineering executives and architects, and translate hyperscaler networking requirements into DSP performance specifications and features.
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitors to identify product gaps and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Partner with executive leadership and sales to identify, pitch, and secure early design wins with hyperscalers and module makers.
  • Gather customer, end-user, ecosystem, and competitive feedback to inform silicon development and future roadmaps.
  • Drive ecosystem marketing initiatives around the DSP, including reference clock, DRV/TIA, MZM, and tester components, to support competitive commercial modular solutions.
  • Partner with engineering, design, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure products are built to specification and delivered on time.
  • Own marketing from strategic positioning through execution, creating sales toolkits, product briefs, application notes, and competitor teardowns.
